Sour Cherry Varenyky (вареники) Filling

image image image1 cup sour cherries, diced

1 Tbsp. white sugar

1/2 Tbsp. white flour or tapioca flour

Finely chop the cherries, mix in with the sugar and the flour.  If necessary, strain some of the liquid if too runny.

Note: Taste the filling and adjust as needed. The more flavour, the tastier the varenyky after cooking.
